Celt Duk [K-elt Duke] is a self-taught artist originating from Montreal whose journey took a transformative turn in 2020 when she began traveling across North America on her bicycle. Inspired by her experiences and the diverse landscapes she travels through, she captures the essence of her adventures in her art.
Fascinated by the science of colour and light from a young age, Celt honed her craft through careful observation and practice. This dedication allowed her to expand her artistic boundaries, resulting in immersive works that feature spellbinding landscapes, portraits, and sketches.
At just 15, Celt started creating hyper-realistic pieces that caught the attention of art lovers within her community. With a deep appreciation for the intricacies of nature and the animal kingdom, she seamlessly blended these elements with the unseen wonders of the universe.
As her audience grew, so did the demand for her work. Celt began exhibiting in art shows and establishing her online presence, which led to her first few jobs as a muralist and illustrator.
Driven by an undeniable desire to travel, Celt is now focused on transitioning from a stationary studio to a mobile one, allowing her to explore new horizons and share her artistic journey with the world. Through her paintings, she hopes to inspire others to connect with the beauty around them.
